Good morning, readers.
The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival returns to downtown Durham in about a month, and we have some festival news for you about it this morning.
My colleague Sarah Edwards has the scoop on the festival’s just-released lineup and thematic program, which is a curated set of screenings and discussions (one of those screenings will be season two of Nathan Fielder’s hard-to-classify series, The Rehearsal.)
This year, the renowned festival features 49 films from 31 countries.
“These are films that take us around the world, reflect deeply personal relationships, and reveal nuanced perspectives,” festival co-director and artistic director Sadie Tillery said in the announcement. “There is grace and tenacity on display at every turn. It is inspiring to watch these films, and even more inspiring to be a part of sharing them with audiences this spring.”
Read more below and have a good Thursday.
