“Now buying old gold for cash!”

A family owned business, Goldworks’ owners, Wren and Ted Hendrickson, have been making jewelry together for over 30 years, first selling their work at juried craft shows and galleries around the country, and finally opening their current store at University Mall. Goldworks has now grown to become a community of designers and goldsmiths, working together towards a common vision. The store showcases creative design, and craftsmanship.

Specializing in their own original jewelry design, working in gold, platinum and mokume-gane, (an ancient Japanese metal-layering technique, meaning “wood grain metal”), the goldsmiths embody the traditional art of fine jewelry making. Each of the goldsmiths has developed and maintains their own individual artistic style technical strengths that support their personal design styles. They function as artists, specializing in jewelry design, with most of the jewelry shown being produced within the store.

When a customer wants to have a piece of jewelry custom made, they first help them to identify which of the goldsmiths would be the best one for them to work with, based on the style and techniques required to produce the style they are most drawn to.

Goldworks, uses only recycled gold in their work, and are happy to take old gold in trade for new jewelry, or transform customers’ old jewelry and stones into new custom designs. They also offer the best price around on buying old gold for cash.

Goldworks is just what one looks for in a jewelry store; Knowledgeable and very personal service, a wide variety of styles, fair prices and a jeweler who really cares about their clients.
