J. Cole is a native of Fayetteville who went on to national stature as a rapper and label boss, but his attempt to bring glory back to North Carolina with the Dreamville Festival got off to an inauspicious start. Originally scheduled to debut in Raleighโ€™s Dorothea Dix Park on September 15, 2018, the one-day hip-hop festival was blown off our day planners by Hurricane Florence before it could even begin.

Now, itโ€™s been rescheduled for Saturday, April 6, and Dreamville announced the lineup today. It features some big names we knew were booked on the first tryโ€”Big Sean, Nelly, national treasure SZA, and of course, Cole himself headliningโ€”as well as some subtractions and additions from the original lineup. (Weโ€™ve lost a Young Thug, but weโ€™ve gained a 21 Savage.)

The multi-stage festival in Dix Park also features a heavy roster of artists from Coleโ€™s Dreamville label, Teyana Taylor (one of the last people making G.O.O.D. Music any good), and homegrown successesย like Rapsody and Mez. Cole and co. also promiseย attractions like a mini-golf course, a beer garden, and lots of local food and craft vendors.

General admission tickets ($119) and VIP tickets are on sale at the festivalโ€™s website now, where you can also peep the full lineup. Cross your fingers for pleasant weather.
