In today’s Independent, Chris Gaffney interviews RailHawks coach Martin Rennie, who reveals a remarkably serene and composed world-view:
“Whoever the players are you have to care for them. Almost serve them in a way, not in a way that you’re a doormat, but in a way that they know that you want the best for them and are there to help them … ultimately, people are basically the samethey want to know that you care about them and what they do.”
This Saturday, area soccer fans will get their first peek at the competitiveness of the heavily revamped RailHawks team when the New England Revolution come to town for a friendly. Kickoff is 7 p.m. and we’ll be there.
