Apparently, snow’s about to hit the fan, so why not cozy up with a new Sylvan Esso tune? The Durham duo premiered “PARAD(w/m)E” (pronounced “parade”) last week on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The track is nice and bouncy, but despite its bubbly beat and catchy refrain, the song’s lyrics dig into darker stuff. The track’s titular parade isn’t as cheerful an affair as its instrumentation might make you think.
