Pending Potential Recount, Democratic State Rep. Terence Everitt Triumphs in NC Senate District 18
After all provisional ballots from Wake and Granville Counties were tallied this weekend, Everitt came out ahead of GOP opponent Ashlee Bryan Adams by 134 votes.

All Triangle Incumbents Retain Current NC House and Senate Seats, But GOP Looks to Have Picked Up Two Seats in Wake County
Current state Rep. Terence Everitt is in a tight state senate race against Ashlee Adams, trailing the Republican candidate by 38 votes. Republican Mike Schietzelt won the race in Everitt’s current house district against Democrat Evonne Hopkins.
