I noticed that a PA is up for best psychiatrist of the triangle. That is great that people appreciate her care, but a PA is not a physician and not a psychiatrist, even though they may provide psychiatric care. Psychiatrists have to go to medical school. She should not be in the running.

I nominate the Chelsea theater, a non-profit, community-oriented venture that offers some of the best movies available, some from big-name directors and producers (I saw THE IRISHMAN first at the Chelsea) and some from directors that weren’t so famous but have become so (I saw MOONLIGHT and PARASITE first at the Chelsea). Then there are all the outstanding films the Chelsea screens such as KEEP THE CHANGE, TULLY, WON’T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR?, and ADAM, plus the memorable documentaries like BATHTUBS OVER BROADWAY, ECHO IN THE CANYON, and THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING. The variety of subject matter and genres makes me keep an eye on what’s showing at the Chelsea every week. It’s a real community gathering spot as well as a movie house. What a pleasure and what a treasure.
