Durham’s reputation as a hub for great food keeps growing, and tonight, the Bull City gets another turn in the spotlight with a feature on the popular documentary series A Chef’s Life. Host Vivian Howard, who runs Kinston’s famed Chef & the Farmer, hit the Bull City with her crew last year to shoot an episode that airs tonight.

Titled “Honey, I’m Home,” the segment will focus on honey and its applications across a wide variety of cold-weather-appropriate dishes. Downtown Durham’s Scratch Baking, Mateo, Watts Grocery, Pizzeria Toro, Toast and Saltbox Seafood Joint are all stops on Howard’s romp through town.

If you miss the episode’s premiere tonight at 9:30 p.m., fear not—there’s another broadcast at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25. You can watch a trailer for the episode below or via the Chef’s Life Facebook page, and catch up on some other tasty Triangle-area treats with our recent DISH guide.
