“Table Manners,” part of Alan Ayckbourn’s The Norman Conquests trilogy, dissects suburban middle-class mores by following the philanderings of the self-confessed “three-women-a-day” Norman, a relatively unprepossessing assistant librarian who’s nonetheless charming and empathic. In the play, Norman finds himself in love with his wife’s younger sister, Annie, and simultaneously with his brother-in-law Reg’s wife, Sarah. To make things worse, he’s already married to Reg’s sister, Ruth (Rod Rich as Norman and Rebecca Johnston as Ruth are pictured), who’s understandably upset about her husband’s amorous peregrinations.
