Busy Street Children’s Museum will transform the city of Durham into the scene of a mass scavenger hunt on Saturday, Nov. 11. To participate in the first annual Great Busy Street Adventure, show up at the Lakewood Shopping Center museum at 10:30 a.m. with a team of two to eight people (there’s a limit of two cars per team) to receive a list of things to find around the city. These items include everything from a takeout menu from a certain restaurant to Polaroid photos of your whole team in front of a famous Durham location. (Busy Street will supply the cameras.) Hunters have an hour and a half to gather as much as they can before they meet back at Busy Street for pizza and prizes. Twenty teams have registered already, so call 403-3743 soon and sign up your own band of scavengers. Registration is $50 per team.
