Never heard of Asleep at the Wheel? They’ve only been one of the most respected big band Western swing bands for the last 31 years. These guys aim to make you dance, country style. They’ve just put out their 13th album, The Very Best of Asleep at the Wheel. Catch ’em Sunday, Oct. 6, at 5 and 8 p.m., if only to see a 6-foot-7 guitarslinger shake his stuff on stage. And keep in mind that if you don’t go, you’d be going against the advice of Willy Nelson, Bob Dylan, George Strait and Van Morrison-all of whom have nothing but swell things to say about the swingin’ cowboys.
