The North Carolina Rhythm Tap Festival will feature an international cast that includes Fayard Nicholas of the famed Nicholas Brothers (who danced at Harlem’s Cotton Club in the 1930s), and Brazilian native Claudio Fugueira and jazz-tap innovator Brenda Buffina, current director of the American Tap Dance Orchestra. Also appearing: Dianne Walker, an educator who’s performed on film and Broadway, Josh Silberman, who dances in the classic style of Astaire and Kelly, and N.C.
