CREATIVE LIVING ART EXHIBIT
THE SCRAP EXCHANGEWhat is art? For autistic adults in the Autism Society of North Carolina’s Creative Living program, it’s an outlet that embraces both creative expression and practical skilland it’s for sale at the Creative Living Art Exhibit. Twelve participants painted, molded and designed their way into the exhibit, which features a variety of mediums and perspectives, all available for purchase. The Scrap Exchange, an environment-friendly crafter’s paradise, hosts the exhibition. Art therapist Cody Tyler curates the show, which runs through Aug. 20. All profits go to the individual artists.
