Starting Feb. 29, WNCN (NBC-17) will no longer carry the NBC lineup of shows including The Blacklist, The Tonight Show and Saturday Night Live.

Instead, the station will carry the CBS lineup (including The Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, etc.) that currently plays on WRAL. On that date, WRAL begins carrying NBC shows.

CBS confirmed Friday that it “was teaming up with WNCN,” as reported by The Triangle Business Journal.

CBS had little to say on the matter Friday, referring questions on what would happen to WRAL to WRAL parent Capitol Broadcasting, which had not immediately returned a request for comment.

WRAL was originally an NBC affiliate when its broadcasting began in 1956. It became a full-time ABC station in 1962, then switched with WTVD in 1985 to become a CBS affiliate.
