This selection is part of UNC-Greensboro’s “Creative Time Summit: Art, Place & Dislocation in the 21st Century City,” where, on Friday, Oct. 25, I’m showing a series of images of Durham. The photographs combine still-lifes of found objects that reference the history of Durham and of my childhood in the city, contrasted with more traditional documentary images of modern Durham. The artist lecture is at 1 p.m. in the Gatewood Studio Arts Building lobby.
