Rock the (early) vote

To raise awareness of early voting in North Carolina, Mac McCaughan, co-owner of Merge Records and co-founder of Superchunk, collaborated with the Obama campaign to play free shows at UNC-Wilmington and Durham’s Central Park with Spider Bags.

During two lunchtime concerts (the Durham one headlined by out-of-towners Titus Andronicus), the bands encouraged the crowds to vote early and to give President Obama another four years.
