We are part of the team to help your pet recover.
Animal Rehabilitation Clinic (ARC) is a brand new facility offering a wide array of rehabilitation, wellness and conditioning services for your pet. As a referral clinic, we work together with you and your primary vet, veterinary surgeon or neurologist to help your pet recover from surgery or injury. Individualized plans are developed based on your pet’s limitations, incorporating clinic-based and home-based treatments. Your pet can recover with us as an inpatient or come for regular visits as an outpatient.
As Durham’s only clinic solely dedicated to companion animal rehabilitation, we strive to meet all of your rehabilitation and wellness needs. We have an underwater treadmill, a land treadmill, balance and wobble boards, an electrical stimulator, exercise balls and rolls and supportive slings and harnesses.
ARC also offers programs for weight loss, arthritis, pain management and general conditioning or wellness. If your pet needs a splint, sling, cart or other specialized equipment, we can make recommendations and assist in obtaining the equipment.
ARC’s owner is Kevin Allen Jones, who is a graduate of Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. He was a general practitioner for 6 years and has been practicing companion animal rehabilitation exclusively since 2005. ARC’s clinic manager is Jessica Sheets, who is a graduate of Ithaca College’s Physical Therapy program. Both Kevin and Jessica completed the Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner program through the University of Tennessee. They perform all of the evaluations, and are the primary rehabilitation providers.
