A refreshing new voice has emerged from the Triad in the alternative pop incarnation of Joshua3. Greensboro native and well-seasoned singer-songwriter Joshua West on guitar is joined by classically trained Brown Biggers on bass and violin, along with two former members of Creamy Velour–guitarist Jesse Allard and drummer Herbie Gimmel. Together they form a lively and fun combo, performing original tunes that are guaranteed to put the boogie in your caboose. A growing favorite of the Triad, check them out locally Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Open Eye Café, 100 E. Main St., Carrboro. Call 968-9410 for details.
