Raleigh's Kat Robichaud finally meets her end on The Voice

The Raleigh singer delivered Pat Benatar’s “We Belong” for her Top 10 performance with typical flare, playing piano, dancing with masked flamenco men, and throwing a fist to the sky. After the tense <a href="http://www.nbc.com/the-voice/exclusives/instant-save/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instant Save</a> window closed, the results were in and, to be honest, weren't all that surprising. <iframe loading="lazy" width="560" height="315" src="http://www.nbc.com/assets/video/widget/widget.html?vid=n43414" frameborder="0"/> James Wolpert, Kat Robichaud and Will Champlin perform Fall out Boy's "Sugar, We're Going Down" Kat's theatrical glam rock has always sat at odds with the boring-whiteboy-soul and yelling ladies of the live rounds. This just wasn't her audience. Anyone who hugs strangers and stage dives and loves Dr. Who and talks to Amanda Palmer belongs more in a rock club than such a cheery TV show. Still, it was fun to watch while Kat lasted.
