Starting in January, you’ll be able to enjoy a Bond Brothers IPA before flying out of Raleigh-Durham Airport next year.
On Thursday, RDU announced that Triangle favorite Bond Brothers Beer Company will be one of several new businesses opening at Terminal 2 as the airport transitions to a new concessions company, as first reported by the Triangle Business Journal.
“We’re just super excited, and we’re just really looking forward to it,” says Bond Brothers co-founder Jay Bond.
The RDU Airport Authority Board signed off on the changes Thursday. Other newcomers to the Terminal 2 include Wow Bao, an Asian restaurant, and Rush Bowls, a frozen yogurt concept. Catina Grill, Raleigh Taproom, and Deli & Co will also be added.
With these hellos come a few goodbyes: The new eateries will replace A&W All American Food, Carolina Ale House, and Brookwood Farms in an effort to increase “ethnic flavors, local breweries, and other fresh concepts,” RDU officials said in a press release.
In case you were worried, California Pizza Kitchen and Bruegger’s Bagels will remain.
Bond Brothers will offer the same array of beers as its main location in Cary. The airport shop will also serve food and is working on a menu pairing dishes with its beers.
