Cary native Steve Dilling, banjo player for the tremendously popular IIIrd Tyme Out and a former member of the Bass Mountain Boys and the Lonesome River Band, offers his annual solo gig Thursday at downtown Raleigh’s Tir na nOg Irish Pub. He has rounded up an all-star cast of friends, including erstwhile New Vintage vocalist and bass player Gena Britt, respected Moore County fiddler Greg Luck, late of JD Crowe & the New South, and IBMA Mandolin Player of the Year Adam Steffey and guitarist Jimmy Van Cleve from Mountain Heart.
