If you couldn’t get tickets for Hamilton at DPAC run last fall (which the INDY had a lot of feelings about), start pinching your pennies now: The venue announced today that the national touring production will return sometime in the 2020-2021 season. Last fall, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s retelling of founding father Alexander Hamilton’s story came to Durham and almost immediately broke records when all thirty-two of its performances sold out (that’s eighty-six thousand seats). DPAC members will have purchasing priority when tickets go on-sale at a date to be announced.
