Though their alma mater has been discredited, the 25 graduates of the New L.I.F.E. College Program, the unauthorized satellite campus to N.C. Central University, had their diplomas approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Herald-Sun reports (reg. required). The additional 100 students who had either begun classes, or sought to enroll at the Lithonia, Ga. campus this Fall, will be forced to attend another school in order to graduate from college. Earlier this month, UNC System President Erskine Bowles announced that all federal grant money will be paid back by Central, not students. But what about all the money they wasted on tuition?
